5 For Five - Sept 15

So what is 5 For Five? In the short form, it is 5 goals I want to achieve this week. Next week, I will report on my success (or failure).

Here were the goals from last week:
1. Finish the May newspapers. Nope.  Not even close.
2. Publicize my Jamberry business. Done. Started my Facebook page and hosted a great online party.  I also did a vendor show (in the rain) and booked another show.
3. Finish the rainbow baby posts. Nope.
4. Menu plan to empty the chest freezer to defrost it. Nope.  But we are eating food out of the freezer, so it is emptying.
5. Take 5 things out of Dan's room that don't belong.  Shelby has been enjoying going in there, so I need to move some of the items we don't want to loose out (or at least to higher ground!) Nope.

Ok, I got side tracked by Jamberry this past week.  So what are my goals for this week???
I am repeating most of my SMART goals from last week:

1. Finish the May newspapers.
2. Organize my NNPDF papers.
3. Finish the rainbow baby posts.
4. Menu plan to empty the chest freezer to defrost it.
5. Take 5 things out of Dan's room that don't belong.  Shelby has been enjoying going in there, so I need to move some of the items we don't want to loose out of the room (or at least to higher ground!)

You are probably wondering what a SMART goal is.  It is a term I "borrowed" from Say Goodbye to Survival Mode by Crystal Paine at Money Saving Mom.  SMART goals are: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound.  Since all these goals are really time-bound (1 week), I just have to get better at meeting the other criteria.

Ok, who is with me?  Let's keep each other on track to a better year!
